Campifi WiFi is an off-grid internet service designed to give you access to the world while staying at remote campgrounds.


Owned and operated by a travelling Aussie who wanted to share his Starlink connection with his neighbouring campers. The system can run completely off solar power and satellite internet to make the most remote campgrounds safer and more enjoyable.

WiFi Signal

WiFi signal is important when trying to experience your loved internet sites.

  • The WiFi will be strongest and fastest the closer you are to the antennas (Camp Kitchen).

  • The antennas are generally located near the campsite facilities.

  • The more people connected, the slower it will be. Just technology these days.

  • Although we do our best to give you fast, reliable WiFi at your campsite, Campifi does not hold any responsibility for poor performance due to distance or obstructions from the antennas. Please test connection before purchasing.

FAQ

How do I connect my Smart TV to the WiFi?

If your Smart TV has a web browser, this may be used to load the login screen. 

Type 10.5.50.1 into the browsers search bar and the login screen may appear.

Unfortunately there are many reasons why Smart TV's do not like public WiFi and some are:

  • Bad WiFi reception inside the caravan. Caravan's are great at blocking WiFi signals.

  • The Smart TV doesn't support 'Splash Pages', aka the login page.

How many devices can I use on my paid plan?

2 devices.

Every paid plan will allow two devices to access the WiFi.

Simply use the same phone number you used to sign up with at the login screen.

Is the speed capped?

Yes.

The speed is capped at 20Mbs per device.

This helps share fast connection speeds with everyone. 20Mbs is great for video streaming up to 1080P.

Can I get a refund if the WiFi isn't good enough?

No.

All paid plans are non-refundable. This is why you should test the strength and speed before you buy.

The WiFi will always be faster closer to the antennas which are generally located near the campsite facilities. Other users and obstacles can vary the speed so please test before buying.

What if I pay for more days than I used?

In the unlikely event your camping experience is cut short and you cannot use the remaining time you purchased, unfortunately we are not able to provide a pro rata refund.
